Grönefeld One Hertz 18K RG watch

The amazing mechanism designed by Tim & Bart Grönefeld from The Netherlands. The movement has a secondary gear train for the Independent Jumping seconds, independent from the gear train for the hours and minutes. With two mainsprings, this caliber is unique in the production wrist watches.

This is the second model from the Grönefeld brothers, and their first manufacture caliber, finished to the highest degree by hand in their workshops. Unique too are the stainless steel bridges micro blasted center surfaces, with circle grained edges and hand beveling. An exercise in artisanal watchmaking by masters of their craft. 

All told, only 50 One Hertz movements were made in the different case/dial executions. The is the last one of the whole series.
